Terms of Service

Last updated: 22 June 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using this platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all admins, agents, and end users who interact with the chat widget.

2. Description of service

We provide an AI-powered chat platform that allows businesses to deploy conversational assistants on their websites. The Service includes knowledge base management, human agent inbox, audience targeting, analytics, and widget configuration tools.

3. Account responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must not share your account or allow unauthorised access.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including actions taken by agents you invite.
  • You must notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload or transmit unlawful, harmful, or misleading content.
  • Violate the privacy rights of any individual.
  • Distribute spam or unsolicited messages.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract proprietary systems.
  • Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law.

5. Content and data

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the platform (documents, website content, knowledge bases). By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to process and store it for the purpose of providing the Service.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that any content you upload does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights or violate applicable laws.

6. AI-generated content

The Service uses AI models to generate responses. While we take steps to improve accuracy, AI responses may be incorrect, incomplete, or misleading. You are responsible for reviewing knowledge base content and configuring the bot appropriately. We are not liable for any harm arising from reliance on AI-generated responses.

7. Availability and support

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or emergency changes at any time. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice for planned downtime.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate access to the Service at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice in the dashboard. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
